A Couple Saves A Stray Cat And Her Bent-Leg Kitten

An abandoned stray cat who had been cruelly abandoned by her owners did an outstanding job of locating the ideal home to care for her and her wounded youngster.

About a year after Pamela Amella and her husband moved into their house in Maine, they began to see stray cats in their yard. Although they believe several were abandoned by their owners who had relocated.

Pamela decided to seek assistance from various local groups, but none of them had the resources she needed. “I tried all in my power to assist the kitties. We feed them, and if we can catch them in the winter, we bring them in,” Pamela explained.

A pregnant stray cat found her way into their home earlier this year. Pamela and her husband realized they had no choice but to assist her.

The cat gave birth to two kittens, but only one survived. One of the kittens that survived was born with a twisted leg. Lux was the name given to him by the couple, while Kat was given to the mother cat.

Pamela explained, “At first, I didn’t see his crooked paw until I went over and handled him for the first time.”

His damaged leg had little effect on his speed. He was up and about as soon as he could walk, exploring and playing.

“A tiny purple teddy and anything that moves are his favorite toys,” Pamela added. “Lux isn’t deterred in the least by his paw.”

He snuggles up to his owners when he’s not playing. Pamela said, “Lux is hilarious and has a great personality that simply warms your heart.”

Lux has matured into a happy and healthy adult. He has no idea that he is different from any other kitty.

Kat is a fantastic mother who pays close attention to her child. She’s doing well, and the pair is smitten with both mother and son.
