This Blind Puppy Refuses To Go Anywhere Without His Best Friend

Jimmy is an aging Chihuahua dog who has a strong bond with Stevie, a blind Shar-Pei dog; Jimmy is unquestionably his greatest buddy. They both reside under a rescue organization’s care and are unable to survive apart.

California Shar-Pei Rescue board member and volunteer Neda Rosa said:

“We have never witnessed a friendship like this two have in our 30 years of rescuing. It’s also intriguing because Jimmy seems to be caring for his blind spouse despite knowing this. He has simply been glued to him. He keeps repairing it and never stops washing her face. All he wants is to be with him.

After being discovered wandering alone in Southern California at the beginning of October, Jimmy and Stevie were turned over to the Ramona Humane Society. However, when no one came forward to claim them, the California Shar-Pei Rescue group took them in.

Both individuals may have shared a residence.

Rosalyn said:

“Since we are a particular kind of rescuers, we only save Shar-Peis. However, we felt that there was no way we could leave their tiny companion behind after we realized how close these two canines were.

Jimmy and Stevie are looking for a permanent home at a shelter managed by California Shar-Pei Rescue.

It is crucial to make it clear that the person who chooses to adopt them will need to be aware of the care that Stevie will need as he is blind, started having seizures, and will probably need medicine for the rest of his life. Nevertheless, he is a really loving dog that is eager to please.
