According To The Shelter This Dog Was Too Bad To Be Adopted, But It Proved Them Wrong

This small puppy was criticized for being too vicious by someone at an animal shelter in California, USA. that since the stray animal was too courageous, it could not be placed in a typical cage at the shelter. Lola was then placed between two cages after the shelter staff felt it was not worth the danger.

Lola’s current human, Nicola Grice, claims that the staff members avoided risk-taking with Lola because they believed she was too violent. But Lola was able to get through the barriers. In Canada’s British Columbia, Nicola resides.

She made the decision to give Lola a chance after learning about the young girl’s plight from a rescue organization.

When this tiny Chihuahua left the shelter in 2013, one of the first things she did was act in a way that was the exact contrary of what the shelter had seen of her.

Nicole stated:

She passed out in our veterinarian’s arms the first time I took her there.

A small Chihuahua called Chip, who was also saved from a shelter, was waiting for Lola when she got home, and the two bonded immediately.

Lola proved to be a very devoted dog, unlike what others at the shelter believed she would be. Years later, however, Lola unexpectedly found herself in a life-threatening situation once more, although this time, instead of being in a shelter, she was battling a dreadful illness.

Early in May, when Lola was getting ready for bed, she passed out. After being transferred to the hospital right away, the veterinarian identified Lola’s illness as hemolytic anemia, which causes her body to attack its own red blood cells.

Lola was going to have a very tragic ending after working so arduously to find a home.

However, Nicola was not going to let Lola be taken from her, so even though she was broke, she did everything in her power to ensure that her dog received the best care and could survive.

Through blood transfusions, medications, tests, and more tests, Lola set out on an odyssey. The infant is a formidable opponent.
