This Woman Restored Her Old Van To Travel With Her Beloved Dog Around The World

Travel enthusiast Marina Piro made the decision to renovate an ancient van she named “Pam” so she could embark on thrilling journeys with her canine companion. She was born in Italy and currently resides in the United Kingdom, but she travels the globe with her dog Odie to experience life to the fullest.

The van, a 2001 Renault Kangoo design, has five doors.

With a bed, curtains, a kitchen, LED lighting, and even indoor plants, Marina Piro decided to renovate it and began from the inside. The outcome is a very lovely space that is now essentially her and Odie’s home.

On her website, Marina stated:

“Having Odie with me was the major reason I choose to be traveling in a van,” the traveler said.

“A van appeared to be the most practical choice. Dogs are not allowed by too many bus, rail, and airline companies, not to mention the challenges you could have in locating acceptable housing.
