Dog Who Spent Her Whole Life Locked In A Basement Is So Excited To See The World

BB was discovered by rescuers imprisoned in a tiny cage in a home’s basement. The surroundings were appalling—she was filthy, covered in trash, and ill-ventilated. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) was successful in raiding a puppy mill in Charlotte, North Carolina, in September of last year because BB was being mistreated there.

The age of BB at the time of her rescue was unknown, but her enormous teats showed she had nursed several litters of puppies, which the proprietors of the puppy factory must have sold to make a lot of money. She BB was probably kept in the little cage her entire life.

When Jessica gained BB’s trust, he opened the cage and took her out.

She uttered:

“I recall how delicate and little it was. She leaned against me as I drew her close to my body.

There were 150 dogs, numerous cats, and goats, all of which were kept in appalling circumstances, in the puppy mill. Thankfully, HSUS, the local sheriff’s office, and another organization were in charge of shutting down this appalling facility and saving all the animals.

Brenda Totereo, who works as the receptionist at the veterinary hospital where several of the animals were brought, including BB, was there.

Susan said:

BB was cornered. She was unfortunate in that she didn’t eat or drink, and I decided to take her home since I felt so awful for her.
