A 10-year-old beagle called Rowdy had made a dog park in Woodward in Fresno, California, his second home for the last eight years. To enjoy the company and exercise, her owner Harold had been taking her every day. But Harold’s disease made it hard for him to continue taking care of his cherished puppy, thus the couple’s frequent visits came to a stop.

After receiving an esophageal cancer diagnosis, Harold’s liver and lungs have also been affected. He can’t go to the dog park because of the dreadful disease, but he is praying without hope that it won’t ruin Rowdy’s enjoyment.

Rowdy, according to Mona, should be adopted by a caring family that has a yard and a fence so he has space to play. Rowdy is temporarily cared for by Mona, who is working hard to fulfill Harold’s request and prevent Rowdy from entering a shelter.
