Couple Went To Adopt A Kitten At The Shelter, But She Refused To Leave Her Best Friend

Louie and Luna were all by themselves when they arrived at STAR Rescue in Gainesville, Florida. But as soon as they connected, they made the decision to stay friends forever. They almost do everything together, and they really like kissing and cuddling.

“Louie is an orange tabby, and Luna is a brown and orange Maine Coon. They were really close when we adopted them. More than they loved us, they loved one another.”

While visiting the shelter to adopt a dog, James and his girlfriend ended up taking home the two kittens instead.

We began hunting for a dog, but since we both work full-time and live in an apartment, we are frequently gone from home and pets need a lot more care.

We came to the conclusion that obtaining a cat would be the best course of action because I have always owned cats and am familiar with the requirements for housing them all.

The two cats, notably Luna, fell in love with James’ girlfriend and were taken back to the shelter two weeks later.

Although they only intended to adopt a cat, they chose to adopt Luna instead of Louie since the two had grown close. They decided to keep Louie with Luna while he found a home so that he wouldn’t be depressed in the shelter, so they took the two pals home for hugs.
