Scared Dog Hid In Doghouse After Family Moved In Without Him

A dog had been living in a run-down kennel in the backyard of her home for eight years when things started to become worse. The puppy was abandoned when the family was being evicted from her home.

The founder of Speranza Animal Rescue in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Janine Guido, recently posted the following on the group’s Facebook page:

Have you ever considered the appearance of a dog that has experienced heartbreak?

Later, Janine shared a picture of Pamela staring out of the tiny shed she was going to lose. It’s a rather gloomy picture.

She has resided in this area. It’s all she’s ever known, and it’s been eight long years.”

A real estate agent informed Janine that the dog was homeless, which prompted her to visit the site. Pamela, who was devastated, saw her prior owner come and take her out of the shed, put her in Janine’s car, and drive away without saying goodbye.

Pamela was undoubtedly frightened by the abrupt changes that had occurred in her life. She was snarling a little while cowering in her kennel and hiding her tail between her knees.

Janine remarked:

“She has emotional wounds rather than physical ones. And they require the most healing time.”

However, Janine has assisted even the most traumatized canines in moving past their past. She understood that Pamela only required love, solace, and a little bit of patience. Pamela needed to visit the vet since she was living outside in the squalor and had sores all over her body.

Janine remarked:

She trembles with dread when I speak to her. Her entire body quakes… Even the look in her eyes makes my heart hurt.

Fortunately, Pamela began kissing Janine’s face a few days later. The small dog, who had spent her whole existence in another country, started to understand that the abrupt changes had been for the best.
