The Oldest Dog In The Shelter Asks Santa For A Forever Home

The oldest animal shelter resident in Pennsylvania, Lucy, has one request for Santa this year: she wants to find a permanent home. She has spent more than 900 days at the shelter, and a week ago she handed Santa her letter.

Since she is treated like a queen by the staff at the shelter, Lucy has earned the moniker “Queen Lucy.” They describe Lucy as having a wonderful attitude, a huge grin, and a large heart.

the PSPCA staff posted on Facebook:

“You can feel it from head to toe when she loves you,”

In May 2017, Bella and Lucy visited the PSPCA. She has since gained a lot of friends at the shelter.

According to the shelter, Lucy enjoys exploring new things, driving, and swimming in streams. She enjoys dressing up and is friendly with other canine pals.

The PSPCA continued:

It’s better to avoid tempting Lucy with kittens or other tiny animals since she believes cats are intended to be chased.

The staff said that because Lucy can be apprehensive of some men, she would require a patient adopter who is prepared to allow her time to become used to her new home.

Email her “friend” Nicole if you’re interested in adopting Lucy, seeing her in person, or learning more about her.

“Lucy, sometimes known as “Queen Lucy,” is the moniker I go by. I have spent more than 930 days residing at the shelter! I have a lot to worship about here, but I’m also eager to reign a smaller kingdom.”

There are only a few things I will need for my dominion to last forever:
– Milkbones (there are no imitations; they must be REAL Milkbones!)
– Baths with lavender shampoo.
– It has to be large enough for my genuine butt and at least two human people, whether it’s a bench outdoors or a sofa inside.
– A backyard with a spot to sunbathe.
– Cute subjects who gave my royal paw a kiss.
