Dog With A Crooked Nose Finally Finds A Home After Years In The Shelter

This dog with a crooked nose spent more than two years at a shelter while looking for the right family. Jude, a six-year-old dog, has been overlooked for years because he physically differs from the other dogs in a small way.

But when Joseph Carver and Jennifer Moore first met Jude, they fell in love right away.

Before Hurricane Dorian struck in August of last year, the couple discovered that an animal shelter required dog sitters for their pets.

At that point, Joseph made the decision to take Jude and provide her with a foster home in order to aid the shelter. But when the couple realized Jude was the ideal match for them, what had initially been temporary quickly turned into a permanent arrangement.

Jennifer said to Metro

“The hurricane passed, but we were unable to bring him back since he felt liberated and was sleeping on a bed. Therefore, we chose to embrace it.

According to Jennifer, Jude has become a local celebrity as a result of his peculiar physical features. Every time they go for a stroll, people instantly comment on his crooked nose.

Jenna stated:

“We don’t know why Jude looks that way, but he’s very healthy and his nose doesn’t appear to bother him at all.”

The pair finds Jude’s nose deformity to be the cutest feature about him, making it the least significant for them.

The dog had been flown across the nation for adoption, but Big Dog Ranch Rescue informed the owners that no one had expressed interest.

Before the pair arrived up and decided to stay with this lovely animal, he spent more than two years at the shelter. Jude fit right in at the couple’s new house and made friends with Lyric and Banjo, two other dogs that they had previously saved.

Jennifer believes that sharing her experience may encourage others to take in strange or abandoned dogs.

Jenna stated:

“Adopting a dog is crucial because it means preserving their life,” said the adopter.
