Blind And Deaf Dog Comforts Every Rescued Animal That Comes Home

Animal rescuer Sheryl Smith has worked for many years to foster and relocate animals, offering abandoned animals a second shot at happiness.

Sheryl knew she had to step up and assist a dog named Shiro who was deaf and half blind, had already spent time in two shelters, 12 foster homes, and had been adopted and returned to shelters four times.

Sheryl made the decision to adopt him right away because Shiro was a very anxious dog and she wanted him to experience what it was like to have a lifelong home.

She stated to The Dodo:

He still sobs in the car because he believes they have left him somewhere else.

Shiro has made progress since his family first encountered him, yet he is still engaged in battle.

Since the time he joined his family, this wonderful dog has had a soft heart for other animals in need and has started consoling all the other rescue animals who walk by his house.

Shiro joined the babies and immediately began cleaning them up, according to Sheryl, who recalls that after saving Shiro, she also saved a pregnant dog who was too ill to care for her puppies.
