Animal Sanctuary Is Looking For Volunteers To Cuddle Pigs And It’s a Dream Job

It has been suggested that pigs are more clever than dogs, certain primates, and even 3-year-old children. It’s difficult not to respect them because they are also incredibly affectionate, highly sociable, scientifically shown to speak with one another, inquisitive, and thorough.

It has just come to light that Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary, a farm animal refuge in South Carolina, is in need of volunteers.

This is done to help the piglets who are up for adoption become more socialized so they can easily pass the adoption procedure.

“Come assist our adoptable residents get socialized so they can smoothly move into our adoption program! In order to prepare our pig companions for their new home, we scratch their bellies, feed them cookies, sit with them, and even chat to them.

Pigs are quite gregarious, as was already said, and it is crucial for their wellbeing that they interact with other pigs.

Because of this, animals must become accustomed to people before being adopted in order to adapt into normal life. This is where the volunteers may help.

The sanctuary sees a lot of visitors since many individuals like participating in activities with the animals there.

Thankfully, since the initiative began, the project’s volunteer calendar was full through the month of March.

Volunteers can participate in a variety of activities offered by the sanctuary to support animals in need.
