Thai Animal Shelter Gives Disabled Dogs A New Lease On Life

Undoubtedly, the tales of many animals saved from the streets are heartwarming and demonstrate that there are still kindhearted individuals in the world, but what a Thai animal sanctuary accomplishes with animals that have specific requirements is something to be admired.

Thousands of animals are abandoned, lose their homes, or are simply born on the streets at this period of global distress. However, because it is not common practice among Thai citizens to interact with stray animals, this issue is on an entirely different scale in Thailand.

Despite the lack of interest in this group of animals, there is a man in Thailand who is in charge of the situation.

A refuge was built for homeless animals by a Swedish chef named Michael J. Baines, who now resides in Thailand. The Man That Rescues Dogs shelter, based in Chon Buri, is devoted to saving animals, and Michael is its president and one of its founders.

Since he started his admirable effort, the guy has been successful in saving more than 2,000 animals, including dogs and cats, who were homeless. The shelter’s focus on preserving handicapped animals and providing them a second chance at life is its finest feature.

Michael initially fed the street animals, but when he saw that many of them desperately needed assistance, he made the decision to build the refuge. Currently, there are roughly 600 animals in the shelter, which is a challenging work, but they are successful because of his team members.

All of the animals at the shelter are cared for by Chris Chidichimo, his principal assistant, and 30 other staff members. In addition, they deal with unanticipated crises every day as a rescue group in addition to caring for rescued dogs and cats.
