No One Wants To Adopt This Dog Because She Looks Different From The Others

Meagan Hanley, the founder of the Boston, Massachusetts-based A Place for Ace rescue facility for animals in need, realized she had to step in to save the dog when she learned that no one wanted to adopt her.

Kleo the dog was kept at a shelter in San Antonio, Texas, but regrettably no one wanted her, thus she was put on the euthanasia list.

Her previous family decided to return her to the shelter even though she had already been adopted, signaling that it would be extremely challenging to locate an adoptive home in time.

Kleo stands apart from other dogs thanks to his slightly crooked face and noticeable underbite. Kleo had something unique, and after giving it some thought, he traveled for her and gave her to her foster family. Meagan realized she had to do something to assist her.

Kleo showed that he adored his new life when he moved into his foster family’s house and neighborhood as soon as he got to Boston.

Despite all that had transpired, she was pleased and her foster mother was taken aback. The move did not even phase her at all. Kleo was looked for at home by Brianne Miers, who is now in charge of providing for her needs while she is being adopted.

Brianne stated to The Dodo:

“Kleo truly lives each day to the fullest; she is a bundle of energy who likes to play. She is incredibly clever and intrigued about all the various sights and scents she encounters.

Due to Kleo’s ease of handling and rapid adaptation, the volunteer has cared for many dogs, but none like Kleo. The dog has a typical existence since she is unaware of her unique characteristics from other animals.

Brianne continued:

“She snorts a little when she’s enthusiastic, and because of her bite, she sometimes makes a mess when she eats or drinks something crunchy or drinks water. She is otherwise a typical, happy, and healthy dog!”

People will occasionally gaze at her as they walk, but she ignores them and continues on her joyful path. Even while Kleo doesn’t realize how different she is from her, many people know, and perhaps this is the reason no one has expressed interest in adopting her.
