After Saving Him When He Was A Calf, A Woman Is Now The Greatest Buddy Of A Bull That Weighs Approximately 750 Kg

Thor, a newborn shorthorn bull, was discovered prone and lifeless in a mound of excrement when Heidi Ross first came upon him as a young calf. Heidi felt compelled to do all in her power to save Thor after he won her heart.

The young woman was employed on a farm at the time and pleaded with the farm manager to permit her to purchase the calf using her funds as opposed to having it sent to the slaughterhouse. Since then, Heidi, who resides in the Scottish Highlands, has taken care of Thor.

They have an unshakeable friendship despite Thor’s weight of approximately 750kg and their vast size differences. So that his best friend may tickle his belly, the calf even turns around.

Heidi stated to METRO UK:

The biggest animal I’ve ever had was a guinea pig, so taking on Thor was a major decision for me. As a result, meeting Thor was a positive experience.

Heidi affirms that she has put a lot of effort into earning their trust. Despite the fact that he would never harm her, she may unwittingly do so owing to her stature. Thor isn’t aggressive, of course, but he doesn’t comprehend that some of his actions may harm his buddy, even if she just meant to do it out of love.

She reveals:

“I believe that any animal given the opportunity will demonstrate that all beings are sentient, have feelings, and experience emotions, just like other animals that people naturally interact with, such dogs, cats, and horses.”

Due to his early birth, Thor was unable to stand or walk by himself. Three years later, he has developed into a wise and successful bull.

Heidi tacked on:

Three years ago, I would have laughed if someone had told me that I would soon have a bull for a buddy and that I wouldn’t mind getting buried in mud, always having straw in my hair, and having to spend my Sundays cleaning out a barn and picking up enormous feces from the field. I wouldn’t have taken any of it seriously.
