Goose Rides The Subway Next To A Woman Looking For Help After Seeing Him While Riding His Bike Enjoying Nature
Ariel Cordova Rojas made the choice to ride to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to commemorate his 30th birthday. He intended to spend some quiet time without bothering the many birds in his environment, but instead he had a far richer experience since he immediately offered assistance to any bird in need.
The lady, a former animal care manager for the Wild Bird Fund, reportedly realized something was amiss when she observed the bird on the ground apart from the rest of the flock, according to The Dodo. She said that she sensed something was off and that she was unable to leave her there.
As Ariel got closer, she noticed that the goose was unable to stand and was attempting to crawl while flapping its wings. She instantly picked the 17-pound bird up in her arms and carried it a mile to the park’s gate where a kind stranger brought them to the train.
People on the metro did not appear surprised when they saw Ariel holding the goose she called “Bae” since she had called it that. The woman was greeted by representatives of the Wild Bird Fund at the metro stop, and they were driven to the clinic.
The goose had lead poisoning and an infection, which they had already found while it was still at the clinic. Just in time, Ariel saved him.
Bae has made significant progress throughout her time at the clinic, and she even now has a new companion.
Along with some pictures of the goose, Ariel posted the following on her Instagram page:
“Just out of her quarantine period and permitted to work out in the pool, she called a fellow swan while swimming. She was immobile when I initially took her inside, as well as ataxic, sluggish, skinny, and silent. She may be seen here fluffing her tail feathers with the prospect of a romantic partner.
Ariel can’t think of a better way to celebrate her 30th birthday than witnessing Bae making progress as she and her new buddy gently encourage one another.
