An Man Discovers His Chicken Gently “Nursing” Three Orphaned Kittens

When combined with a strong mother instinct, the force of love is considerably more potent than any biological barrier, and no amount of human might can prevail against it. A Kurdish farmer who is horrified and yet moved to learn about one of his chickens’ fairly odd attitude has learnt this lesson.

Goran A. Surchi, who resides in the Iranian hamlet of Kurdo in Kurdistan, West Asia, is accustomed to getting mischievous surprises from his animals, but this is the first time a chicken has given him such an odd surprise.

One morning, Goran was watching over the barn when he realized one of his birds was brooding. Thinking it was an egg, Goran went over to investigate. But the hen only had three kittens that he had chosen to adopt as his own under his wings.

The farmer was shocked by the strange spectacle and was appalled because he did not comprehend how the bird felt for such little creatures that might easily blind him with a single scratch. However, his geese was still guarding the kittens.

Goran has no idea how the cats ended there at the farmer, much less in the chicken cage, but the fact is that they were motherless and turned to the fowl for support.

The man chose to capture the incident because he was so intrigued by the finding, and the intriguing video has now gone viral.

“I’ve been hearing meowing coming from our chicken coop for a while now, and I was curious to find out what was going on since our chickens could be in danger. I decided to video it so I wouldn’t miss this special moment when I heard meows coming from beneath the chicken, and to my astonishment, there were three adorable kittens there,” the guy added.

The strange family appears to have startled more people than only Goran, but the hen, who has been caring for the kittens ever since, is unconcerned by this.

Although there are many things in terms of love that defy all natural reasoning, this situation is one of them. As it occurs in this instance, the hen has observed in the cats a need for affection and care that she is willing to meet rather than feeling threatened by their presence.
