They Record An Elephant Crying For Help When An Antelope Fell Into The Water

The elephant comes to the rescue? Bigger creatures come in the way of smaller or weaker animals in wildlife. But a potentially terrifying incident ended with the most touching moment, when an elephant began to cry and attempted to save an antelope that had fallen into a water hole.

Tourists and employees at Guatemala City’s La Aurora Zoo saw an unusual and poignant scene when a pachyderm began to cry passionately and even attempted to use its trunk to rescue a buddy in distress.

It was an antelope that had fallen into a pond by mistake and was attempting to get out. The horned deer appears frantic, but the elephant is equally concerned about the situation.

Scream elephants? Anyone may inquire, and the reality is that, while they do not sound like a human scream, these creatures are capable of making noises similar to the act of screaming.

The elephant in this story was only attempting to assist his partner, and he did it in the only manner he knew how: by bellowing to attract the attention of the keepers.

The man went into the manmade pond without hesitation to assist the distressed antelope. Meanwhile, the elephant stood there and appeared to comprehend that everything would be well. His fear has decreased, and he is now fully aware of the situation.

The event took place in front of multiple witnesses, one of which was Mara Isabel Daz Ruiz de Llarena, who was visiting the zoo and took use of the chance to capture the occurrence with her cell phone camera.

The woman uploaded the video on social media without realizing the uproar it would generate. The elephant’s camaraderie astounded more than one follower.

“I was fortunate enough to witness something quite wonderful today.” An elephant appeared to be desperate in alerting zookeepers that an antelope was drowning. “In the end, a courageous worker saved him,” Maria posted on Facebook.

The pachyderm is seen traveling from one side of the pond to the other in the footage, and on many occasions it appears to lend its trunk to the antelope so that it might escape. However, because to the cuckold’s desperation, they were unable to carry out the plan.

What worked was the elephant’s commotion, which alerted the worker to what was going on. If it hadn’t been for it, the antelope may have perished in front of his companion’s eyes, at least that’s what Maria imagined.

After the video went viral, zoo veterinarian Alejandro Striedinger stated that the antelope was never in any danger.

The pond appears to have shallow areas where animals that dive in may come out on their own.
