Dog Was Alone At The Shelter For 400 Days, So This Man Moved Into His Kennel

Queen is a nice little dog who has been at the Great Plains SPCA shelter for 400 days, waiting for someone to save her. Fortunately, Scott Poore learned about her predicament and decided to take action. To keep her company, the man moved into the shelter.

Scott is the founder of Mission Driven, a clothing line dedicated to rescuing dogs from shelters. According to The Dodo, Queen’s life has not been easy.

The dog was discovered in a dumpster in a notorious area of Kansas City, Missouri, where it had been living on the streets.

Everyone anticipated her to find a permanent home soon after she was rescued by the shelter, but that did not happen.

Scott stated,

“They told me about all the many methods they attempted to adopt her and how none of them succeeded.”

Because of the foregoing, Scott came up with the notion of doing something to raise attention to Queen, which the shelter’s rescuers enthusiastically embraced.

Scott arrived to the shelter with his bag and unpacked his belongings in Queen’s kennel, which comprised a tiny desk, a chair, a plant, and a huge dog bed that he had been using.

Scott stated,

“I hung a calendar on the wall and attempted to make the area feel more like a home. It appears to be a bedroom.”

Queen was at ease with her new roommate, and because receiving attention is one of her favorite pleasures, many of the visitors came to see her, while others came out of curiosity to meet the “weird person” who had opted to live into an animal sanctuary.
