12-Year-Old Boy Creates A Wheelchair With Lego Pieces For A Disabled Dog

Because she lacked her front legs, Gracie’s family abandoned her on the street two days after she was born, as if she were a faulty toy. Fortunately, she found the right people, who gave her a lego-made wheelchair, which significantly transformed her quality of life.

She was taken up by the Mostly Mutts charity and sent to a veterinarian facility after being abandoned.

Gracie had no hair around her eyes at the time, and worms were crawling all over her; she was obviously in bad shape, but she proved to be quite a fighter.

The Turney family acquired the dog, along with a paraplegic puppy and another puppy that is missing a limb.

The family was concerned about Gracie’s mobility, but because she was a fast-growing dog, purchasing a wheelchair that she would outgrow in a matter of weeks seemed inconvenient.

Thankfully, Dylan, a 12-year-old volunteer, had the brilliant idea of making a makeshift wheelchair out of Lego bricks.

This was the ideal answer for Gracie because it was both affordable and easy to scale as she grew.

Although it took him a few weeks to get used to the wheels, he was soon able to move around with ease.
