Woman And Her 9 Dogs Visit Hospitalized People Bringing Happiness To Those Who Need It Most

Mackenzie Makatche is 28 years old and resides in Pennsylvania, USA. She chose to produce 9 Newfoundland puppies so that her non-profit company could give canine therapy to ill individuals.

After the woman’s mother got assistance from the dogs to cheer her up throughout her struggle with stage 4 colon cancer, which was discovered in 2016, the project was born.

People were motivated to learn more about this excellent therapeutic practice after Diedre, Mackenzie’s mother, shared her story on social media.

Initially, the woman had the assistance of seven dogs, and she kept a record of their actions to support her through an Instagram account, which she shared with her mother during the treatment process.

They then acquired two additional dogs and received several letters of encouragement from platform users. They all expressed their appreciation for her and wished Diadre well on her recovery.

Mackenzie’s mother, unfortunately, did not survive cancer, but she undoubtedly inspired her daughter to realize the enormous goal that she had begun to construct with her.

Mackenzie told the Philadelphia Inquirer:

“She had a strong desire to launch a therapeutic group that would visit individuals in hospitals.”

Mackenzie founded The Newf Crew with the goal of assisting as many hospitalized individuals as possible.

Guinness, Murphy, Storm, Skyy, Aisling, Oliver, Belle, Duncan, and Coeli are the names of Mackenzie’s nine canine offspring. Three of them have completed the essential therapy dog training, two more are in the process, and the remaining four will begin at some time.
