They Shave A Kitten To Sell It As A Sphynx Cat, Could Not Stand The Pain

Many cat lovers go to great lengths to bring the pet of their dreams into their homes. In the midst of the illusion of receiving the cat you’ve always wanted, there are individuals who profit off those who believe they are sincerely concerned about animals. Holly Rattray is from Alberta, Canada, and she has long wanted a sphynx cat. She decided to contact Tim, a guy who had advertised her interest in seeking a home for a cat of this type on the internet.

When Rattray met with the guy to make the cat purchase, Tim was in such a rush that when they asked for a discount, he gladly agreed to offer it. He hurriedly tallied the money, handed the cat over, and walked away. After a while, Holly and her husband observed that the kitten was acting strangely, and upon closer inspection, they discovered that the kitten had cuts and sores all over his body.

They had no idea the kitten they had purchased had been shaved to resemble a sphynx cat. Holly was incensed and couldn’t believe that someone could be capable of such barbarism; after viewing images of the shaved cat, she couldn’t comprehend how she could survive such an ordeal. The young kitten had no fur, which led Holly to believe it wasn’t a sphynx cat, as this breed’s tail and legs are generally covered in hair.

Holly’s husband assumed the kitten was sobbing because he missed his mother, but it was only after taking her to the veterinarian that they confirmed the crying was due to discomfort. After attempting to relieve her agony and provide medicine, the family chose to name her Stripes. She took considerable time to cure her wounds, and her orange fur began to emerge gradually.

Holly and her husband fell in love with the adorable feline and pampered her as if she were a member of the family.
