Homeless Kitten Wins The Hearts Of The Family Who Found Her On The Street

After being abandoned in a Washington, DC neighborhood, a cute kitten named Petunia (Alias Tuna) was saved by a couple when she was just two days old. They decided to seek assistance from the Humane Rescue Alliance in order to find a home for the abandoned kitten.

Someone without a heart apparently opted to abandon her among a well-known colony of cats.

Tuna has been restless from the start and loves cuddles, so she meows until she gets attention. She’s just cute.

Susie, a Humane Rescue Alliance volunteer, opted to place Tuna in a foster home, informing Love Meow the following:

“She was frequently on my lap while I was on work calls or working in my home office so I could keep her company.”

Tuna’s personality began to show as she grew older, and she formed a strong bond with another resident kitty named Ari, who stayed by her side when Susie was too busy to offer care.

The kitty had become rather spoilt, and whenever she wasn’t napping, she was begging for hugs and cuddles.

Susie needed to do some housework and kept Tuna in a pocket of her jumper to keep her company.

The kitten’s rescuers couldn’t stop thinking about her from the minute they discovered her, so they were always up to speed on the latest news from the rescue center.

Susie chose to foster another kitten called Clozee a few weeks later, and Tuna was overjoyed, eager to be by her new friend’s side.
