Man Dramatically Wrestles With Swan To Help Save Its Life

When a man noticed a white swan with a nasty plastic ring around the its torso, he came up with a plan to remove it. Stefan Broeckling was feeding the swans in Duesseldorf, Germany, when he noticed that one swan was caught in a plastic ring. He knew the ring could ultimately kill the swan so, Stefan bravely caught the swan by first luring it over with grain.

It appears that Stefan knew what to do to keep both the bird and himself safe when handling the animal, because he expertly grabs hold of the swan’s neck and manages to secure the bird’s wings before clipping off the plastic ring and returning the swan safely to the water!
