They Attempt To Free A Bear Trapped In A Power Pole

Animals may be incredibly curious and naughty, and their natural desire to explore drives them to locations where their lives are in danger. This is the story of a naughty black bear who wound up on a power pole near Wilcox, Arizona, USA.

Fortunately, he was noticed in time by a power company employee, who swiftly called his managers to provide the bear with all the assistance he need.

Sulfur Springs Valley Electric Co-Warner op’s Newbauer and an apprentice were dispatched to save the terrified animal stuck between high voltage lines.

When the rescuers came, the first thing they did was turn off the electricity, after which they devised a plan to release the bear. They stated on social media that it was the second pole that the bear climbed, and that when it came down from the first pole, it had already dispersed a gathering of observers.

“When we arrived, we discovered the bear was in an extremely perilous condition and was in risk of being electrocuted at any time.” A massive 7200 volt load is visible near the bear’s head. If it had come into contact with one of those, it would have instantaneously killed it.

“The bear was staring at us from the top of the pole as we were travelling in our bucket truck, but when I started moving closer to him in the bucket, he covered his eyes with his front leg as if he was trying to hide.” I started chatting to him as I neared him, maybe a meter and a half away, and he glanced at me. Warner added his two cents.

Warner finally got the bear into a better position and encouraged it to come down on its own after a long period. The bear eventually descended and returned to its natural environment.
