For The First Time, A Caress Is Given To This Dog That Has Been Chained For Eight Years

Bron, the dog, had been chained for eight years, surrounded by grief and pain, yet all changed in one moment. Bron had lived his entire life enslaved on a Spanish plantation. The animal’s fragile body had a succession of injuries that were never treated due to carelessness, tell-tale marks that it had been abused, when it was eventually discovered by volunteers from Animal Rescue Spain.

Bron also carried the unseen scars of never having been loved, in addition to his physical wounds.

On its Facebook page, the group stated:

Bron is someone we’d like to introduce to you. This large guy was about to be killed after 8 years as a guard dog, bound with a punishment chain whose spikes were already implanted in his neck. So we made the decision to save him, and he is now being readied for a new life.

Bron, on the other hand, will require a lot of patience with his ailments, which aren’t simply physical.

A member of the group, Pilar Delgado, told The Dodo:

“Bron is one of the most challenging situations we’ve worked on. When we initially approached him, he was growling and fleeing.

Bron took it easy once he was rescued and transferred to safety, but rescuers never gave up trying to earn his confidence, and his efforts paid off.

Bron eventually allowed himself to be touched by what may have been the first touch he had ever received in a poignant moment recorded on tape.

Bron was suddenly a cherished dog after his first taste of human warmth and compassion, but helping him recover past all those years of trauma was an equally longer path.

Bron has been rescued for almost a year, and the majority of that time has been spent working with a professional dog trainer to prepare him for a permanent home.

Pilar expressed herself as follows:

“He’s a happy dog, but he still has a long way to go.” Despite the hardships, Bron’s heart still dreams that he would be able to spend his days with a family.

Bron currently has sponsors who pay a monthly fee to care for him. Despite Pilar Delgado’s belief that Bron “will be there until he dies of old age,” Pilar Delgado thinks that Bron “will be there until he dies of old age.”

But, as the group claims, Bron hasn’t given up hope of being visible; he’s been slow to trust humans, but he’s getting there.

On its Facebook page, the group recently stated:

“That is why he is a unique dog in search of a unique family who will understand his concerns and gently teach him what love is, something he has been denied for so long.” Please share so that Bron stops being invisible and we may discover his soul match, the one who certainly reads us from someplace Else.
