Yoshitsune (Yoshi) is an odd 5-year-old cat that does not hesitate to claim what he perceives to be his own. Every new thing that her parents bring home, which she thinks to be her gifts, is eagerly awaited by the kitty. The cat’s favorite thing is a gray and white chair that her mother bought for the desk a few days ago; it is now her favorite chair, and she won’t allow anyone sit in it.
The Dodo spoke with Reina, the kitten’s adoptive mother, who said:
“She enjoys trying new things and is frightened and impatient, yet she understands what others are saying.”
Yoshi has to share the chair with her father, which irritates the cat, who generally sticks her paw in the gap between the seat and the backrest and leans on the cushion to keep the man from sitting comfortably.
Yoshi is particularly attached to the chair, and if her foster father sits in it, he instantly expresses his displeasure.
The crafty kitty goes out of her way to make her father uncomfortable enough to get out of the chair; they generally lean on the backrest and push it with their legs.
If this fails to achieve his aim, he makes theatrical motions to his mother, pleading with her to assist him in regaining his position.
Reina captured the amusing moment earlier this month and shared it on Twitter, writing:
«The new piece is where I belong. My father seems to be stuck on the side of the road at all times.
Yoshi always manages to reclaim her chair, and her father recognizes her aversion to sharing and surrenders to the cat.
Her family is aware that as soon as a replacement item arrives, they will be able to reclaim their chair.
