A Maharashtra Fisherman Strikes It Rich After Catching 157 Ghol Fish Worth Rs 1.33 Crores

A Maharashtra fisherman had no idea that his luck would turn around overnight after the months-long fishing ban.

On the late evening of August 28, Chandrakant Tare, a Palghar fisherman, set off for fishing with eight of his friends. They traveled to Wadhwan, which is 20 to 25 nautical miles distant, aboard the boat Harba Devi.
