After being abandoned in an alley, the newborn goats, called Ebony and Ivory, were discovered by a passer-by who heard their cries.

They had obviously been attacked by a fox or bird, and they were both exhausted, hungry, and bleeding as a result of the incident.

The pedestrian wrapped them in a sweater and took them to Edgar’s Mission, where they were fed and given medical attention.

The two bounced back very immediately and have happily adjusted into their new home, demonstrating how far a little bit of care can go.
