Adorable Situation As Their Mother Goes Hunting For Dinner, The Bear Cubs Hold Hands

While most people think of animals as violent and dangerous, it may also provide some extremely touching experiences. And this pair of bear cubs linking hands is just beautiful. Lewis Kemper, a wildlife photographer, was fortunate enough to be at the right position at the right moment to take some fantastic photographs.

When the 62-year-old photographer from California saw the lovely scene, he was at Lake Clark National Park. While watching the mom bear try to fetch the food, two cubs were holding hands. “Earlier this month, I was taking a photography trip around Lake Clark in Alaska when I noticed a mother and her two cubs waiting for her to return with food,” Lewis said. “I was approximately 20 feet away from the two cubs – bears in the area are accustomed to human presence and are unconcerned about our presence.”

Despite their eager anticipation for fish for supper, their mother returned empty-handed. “For around 20 seconds, the two bears held hands,” the photographer reported. “They thought their mother would bring them some food, but she returned empty-handed.” Bears have a 10% hunting success rate, according to wildlife specialists

Despite the fact that most bears enjoy eating fish, their diet is primarily comprised of vegetation. “Although bears enjoy fish, the majority of them are omnivores that consume mostly plants, including a lot of grass,” Lewis noted.

The two cubs, however, aren’t the first animals caught on video while softly holding ‘hands.’ A couple observed two penguins carrying flippers on a South African beach a few years ago. The sweet meeting instantly went viral on social media at the time, capturing millions of hearts.
