Pregnant Mom’s Dog Follows Her Around, Even Into The Shower

Diz has been with her father since she was a dog and loves him, and when he married, she fell in love with his new wife as well. Diz has become rather devoted to her mother and is constantly concerned about her safety and happiness.

Diz’s mother, Brittany Johnson, told The Dodo, “She has always been extremely protective of me, especially when my husband isn’t with me.”

Diz’s parents found out they were expecting a child a few months ago. Diz seemed unconcerned at first, despite the fact that she had observed.

“For the first few weeks, she would rest with her head against my tummy, then she just just disregarded me,” Johnson recalled.

But that changed a few weeks ago. Diz suddenly felt compelled to stay with her mother at all times. It was almost as if her big sister mentality kicked in, and she felt compelled to be there wherever her mother and prospective baby sibling were. She has steadfastly refused to look away from her mother, no matter what.

Johnson was recently showering as Diz sat just outside the door.

As a result, she decided to join her.

Johnson explained, “My showers have been longer, and she followed me into the bathroom, then just looked in and chose to sit in the shower.” “She sat there until I finished showering.”
Diz must have thought that letting her mother out of her sight for so long was too dangerous, so she took matters into her own hands.

Johnson is presently 20 weeks pregnant, and Diz will soon have a new baby brother or sister. Until then, she’s preparing to be the best big sister ever by keeping an eye on her mother 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the baby arrives.

“Because you never know what may happen to me while she isn’t looking,” Johnson explained.
