Random Horse Enters Guy’s House And Sets Herself

The neighborly spirit is clearly alive and well in the town of Dunedin, New Zealand.

Just ask this friendly local horse named Sharq.

Sharq snuck away from her owner’s house the other day to go for a walk around the neighborhood. Nobody knows what kind of experiences she had along the road, but we do know where she ended up.

Sharq ended her adventure by walking into a stranger’s home and instantly making herself at home.

What’s more amazing, though, is how unfazed Sharq was by his arrival.

Here’s what the homeowner who found himself unexpectedly hosting a horse had to say on Facebook:

Despite taking a few liberties as an unwelcome visitor, Sharq had met someone who would welcome her into his family if she needed it.

Sharq’s owner, Ben Telfer-Hynes, was alerted to what his horse had done thanks to that post. Surprisingly, it didn’t come as a complete surprise.

“She’s an inside horse,” Telfer-Hynes told The Dodo, “so it came as no surprise to me when I discovered her lurking inside this man’s home.” “I’m pleased she was able to discover such a wonderful location to call home for a time.”

Although the horse was restored to her appropriate home without trouble, the account of her journey that day isn’t totally uninteresting. It demonstrates that a stranger in Dunedin, New Zealand, is more like a buddy you haven’t met yet.

Neighbors who say “neigh” are in the same boat.
